TEDx (Technology, Education, Design, x stands for independently organised) are series of talks by high profile speakers on various themes of social relevance. This TEDx edition is all about social entrepreneurship, an area in which exciting (and mostly: many) things are happening. It is moreover a close kin to the idea of collaborative entrepreneurship that I am currently working on in a Utrecht University honours class. In all cases, creating social value is at the core.
Great speakers (practitioners, thinkers, inventors, and whatnot) get 18 minutes to unfold a refreshing view on social entrepreneurship. Initially for an audience, and then for the world wide web. If anything, have a look at the list of speakers, read through their profiles, and you will already feel a glimpse of the inspiration.
